Portfolio
I am a polymath with a background in science, business, and CSR focused on environmental issues. Fluent in Catalan, Spanish, French, English, and some German, but I aspire to master Hungarian. Having lived in Spain, France, and England, I would love to be able to call Budapest home, drawn by the city's picturesque landscapes and its unique past still visible.
From a young age, I had been captivated by photography, starting with my father's camera at age 9. I explored pottery, watercolor, oil painting, and sewing earning accolades (national prize in journalism, regional prize in travel photography, and work published in an art special street art book and local media) A first solo exhibition in Budapest at MagNet Haz, to be part of the Portfolio Friday in the Photographer Gallery in London, and this also solo exhibition in Bristol, showcasing a lifelong passion for the visual arts. in This second solo exhibition in Bristol.
I am also working on two different projects at the moment. One was for the creation of a permanent virtual garden for the Bereavement Maternity department in South Mead Hospital and a mixed media project referent to the detachment of society.
Despite taking photos since childhood, it wasn't until the COVID era that truly grasped the importance of expressing the stories behind the images. I just realized that is not that people are not interested in photography, it is just they don't know how to look at them. If you put them in the right direction people like them and start to see them in a very different way and they truly enjoy them.
Street photography is the kind of photography that has attracted me the most because of its variety and hunting for the unexpected. It is very challenging. You need to constantly work with the elements and understand light in a way in a studio you will never do.
So I would love to show people how they can have joy in making and seeing photography. You don't need expensive stuff, but you need to stop and look around you and admire how light makes every moment special and unique.
Some of my achievements on the field of photography:
First national Spanish journalism price - Lobo de Oro Photography- framing- Third price regional Catalan Competition Published (4 photos, one full book page) a limited edition street art first book - Upfest (biggest street art EU festival), and my work has been mentioned and published in local media in Bristol (England). Solo exhibition 6th December 2023 till 5ht January 2024 MagNet Közösség, Budapest, Hungary. To showcase my work in the Photographer Gallery in London. I had been accepted to participate in the Bath Contemporary Art Fair on the 11th of August, and obviously this Bristol exhibition in Cass Art.
